Jill AND Mary

Born on 25 November 1968, Jillian Shennessy was a dynamic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised by her outstanding contribution to American television. The most famous of her works are her amazing appearances in the American TV shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy has also showcased her talents as an actor in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class and The Acting Class, in which she worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988 when she and her sister played twin callgirls in Dead Ringers. She spent a short time on Broadway in the musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, and then delved into science fiction when she appeared in the role of the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following fall year, she joined the cast for the NBC popular crime show Law & Order in the role as assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. Parker has been featured in movies and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America in which she was awarded a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Parker also won an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 for her performance in the Broadway show Proof.
