Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on August 9th, 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. Whitney's mother and her started singing professionally at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark at the age of fifteen years old. They sang the backing vocals on Chaka Khans 1978 track Im Every Woman. Her mother, Jermaine and Lou Rawls were a few of those who she sang with. She was also briefly modeling for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. The high quality of her performance as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material attracted the attention of several major record companies including Arista who she was signed in 1982, and stayed the rest of her life. The first Whitney Houston album was released in 1985. It became one of the best-selling album by a musician. The album came out with several hits such as Saving all My Love for You How Will You Know That You're a Good Person And The More Love of All. This resulted in her having seven US number one hits consecutively. The singer beat the Beatles. In its debut US year of release, the album had sold more than 3 million copies. After that, it was to be purchased by millions of people around the world which earned her her first Grammy. The album Whitney which came out in 1987, and featuring the popular singles How Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, continued her earlier success. But it is The Bodyguard (1996) that established her as one of the best-selling albums in pop music. The Bodyguard's performance as a film as well as its soundtrack weren't well-received however, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the album accompanying it were top of the charts around the globe for months. That same year she married the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she was the sole parent of their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993. At this point when her well-documented usage of drugs began. By 1996 she was an everyday drug user.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more commonly known as an American anchorwoman reporter as well as CNN's political anchorwoman and political correspondent. She has produced shows for CNN, including Evans & Novak' Late Editionand Inside Politics'. Her awards and accolades include her inclusion on the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Her amazing anchoring and reporting abilities are highly praised by a variety of journalists. The George Washington University grad is an incredibly loving mother of her only child. She has got married twice. Her current relationship is not formal. Bash is a fan of all her followers.
