They became lifelong friends at the beginning of the season, and have been so at the time of its end 10 years in the past. The actress later played Bond girl Paloma as well as Norma Jean, respectively in No Time to Die 2021 (James Bond) and Blonde (2022), a biopic about Norma Jean. Blonde also saw de Armas become the first Cuban actress to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.
