Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is best known to Canadians due to her work as a Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea to whom you are is enthralled. As a dancer and model, Toubia has also achieved the success she has achieved in both areas. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas since her childhood and always enjoyed dancing. In her early years she began to learn various forms of dance. When she was 15, she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when, in 2008 she was a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. She was in 2010 as the receptionist in Telemundo telenovela Aurora. She appeared in the 2015 action thriller Tattooed Love, her debut film.
